STEC has been in production of high level security film since year 2000. Our main focus from year 2000 to 2005 is mainly to local governmental requirement such as Military and Navy. Thus, we are less focus on export business or commercial and residential as the demand for local military is enough to eat up our production capacity.

At present, STEC has 3 production line with capacity of production over 750 rolls / day, more than 100 staff with factory size of more than 400,000 sqf.

STEC adapt latest technology with combination of other industries material and know how to make the film much stronger and reliable to withstand high treat such as Bullet and Explosion.

Important:

Not all glass security films can be armor proof, bulletproof or explosion proof. It requires special Material, Process and Know How in order to produce high level security film for glass to achieve protection against heavy weapons and explosive. Further, the glue itself plays a very important part to hold the glass from penetration, special formula, blending machine and know how is very important to produce A class glue. Most cheap security film in market does not have A class glue, thus reliability is not assured.

Most security film available in market were tested only with light pistol or handgun, as for STECglass, we go for much more extreme test with heavy weapons such as AK47, M16, K1, K2, K3, M60, Grenade, Claymore, etc... Some low level security films require very thick glass in order to achieve Bullet Proof or Explosion Proof, STECglass does not require much thick glass to achieve armored proof.

In year 2001, STECFILM was tested by Powerful Weapons and Strong Explosive conducted by Military to ensure that the film quality does reach to high level ballistic standard for the use in Military and Navy.
